HAXX[edit | edit source]

Using an Action Replay, Gameshark, CodeBreaker, or shotgun, you can hack the limitations of the game and get sweet things, like the Character mod, which can put ANYONE into the game as a character(Excluding Doom and Phoenix X, which must be put in in different ways) at any given time, and do almost whatever you want. Keep in mind doing so is hazardous as malicious code may be surrounding it, thus equaling the system crashing or breaking severly. Take caution when going to extremes. But to make sure your system doesn't implode, we'll give you ones that hardly affect the hardware.

  • Attain Every Weapon: at the System's Hack screen, type in this Mod Code: AAc9745518jI. Open up your inventory and BAM: One of every weapon! This Hack can only work once, as loading more than one Ultima and Atma weapon will crash the Game Mechanics and throw the attack system off of it's whack. Receiving the Ultima and Atma weapons fairly will make the Hacked one disappear.
  • Phoenix X as a Character: This one is kind of buggy, and you must have beaten the game to do it. After beating the game, save, reset it, and type in this code:AjiUC77561. This will bring you back there at level 1 with a new file. This is in an alternate save, so don't worry about your preceeding file. Leave, and head to the Starting town, and return to Homestar's Room. On his bed should be a potion labeled "AGDFaElae+140". Return to the cave, and Phoenix X should be there. Use the item on him at the EXACT BEGINNING OF THE BATTLE, and will kill him. This is where it gets bad, because It may freeze the game, prompting you to start over. If it doesn't, Phoenix X will have joined your party. Keep in mind he can only attack, but He's at level 99, so It isn't that bad.
  • "Wechnia-Bad": This is the most amazing find in the game so far. This Character mod is easy to use, and the Character mod is default, so simply type in the code "IAMAPRETTYGIRL"(That's really what the code is), and you should get a bugged multicolor version of Strong Bad. His move set may seem unfamiliar, because it uses a unique Sword, But fans of RPGs everywhere should know him well. His odd sword design is very similar to a Final Fantasy VIII Character, thus meaning that at one point in development, SQUALL LEONHEART WAS PLAYABLE. They must have scrapped his body, disabled his stat-raising, and changed his Body Set to that of Strong Bad's. The reason for the rainbow colour is the fact that externally removed characters carry hundreds of bugs that can't be taken out, and the bugs must've given him the color.
  • More dumb FF Character mods: There are actually 2 more character mods, both of which are stick figures with weaponry. One is similar to Zidane Tribal, right down to the skills, and the other is Cloud, due to stance and attacks. They can only be seen, as their appaerences in battle make the game crash.

GLITCHES[edit | edit source]

  • When you get Strong Bad's BMW lighter, don't get the chain. Leave, then come back. The chain will be invisible, but you can't move where it is, as if it were there. However, it is still technically there. You can still get it. Jump on the chain and try to land on the geographic center of the fifth link and as soon as you do, use athlete's foot. If done correctly you will fall through for two hours, then the lead character will gain a level. You may repeat, but don't press any buttons when you are falling or the game will freeze. NOTE: In any case that you land on a glitched The Stick, turn the game off immediately.
    • Why does this work?: This is because you are supposed to get the chain! The game automatically assumes you will get the chain. It is also because you can to get Donkey Kong later in the game. It also appears that the Stick was a placeholder for an enemy they took out of the game in that dungeon. It scrambles the game and gives all your characters with zero HP. The athlete's foot attacks the monster and the floor appearently dissapears because of a weak floor or something. Your character gains a level because this monster is very susceptable to fire, but if it attacks you when you land on it...
  • After sneaking into Exus in Neo Arcadia, go into a small door in the side of the main hallway. You will appear in an empty room. Use Cracker Fist on the far wall and it will reveal a passage into a passageway. Use Athlete's Foot or Glove Surfin' while going into the passageway and you will get either Stinkoman or an Ungurait as a playable character. If you don't use one of the field abilities, you will get a game over. Stinkoman can only use Double Deuce, which doesn't do any damage. Ungurait has very low stats and the field ability Pick Lock, which lets you go through certain doors. However, when the game was still being made, these doors were removed from the game. So, both characters are useless.
    • Why does this work?: This works because you get Stinkoman as a character during a short amount of time during the Citadel Assault quest. Origonally, there was a quest in which you had to free an ungurait from Exus and have it lead you to some treasure. The Ungurait was held in the passageway, but was guarded. By using Athlete's Foot, you are able to defeat the guard and get Ungurait as a character. Later, the game was changed to have you free Stinkoman there. Using Glove Surfin' was a way to skip the battle. After changing the storyline, Stinkoman and Ungurait were left in the game.

Easter Eggs[edit | edit source]

  • Mega Man Reference One: On the top of some buildings, you will sometimes see Proto Man.
  • Sonic Reference One: In some places, you'll find a cluster of rings. Examine them, and your character will ask why rings heal you.
  • Billy Madison Reference One: In the The Black Tornado, you'll come across a character wearing a beanie hat watching an Atari 20X6 version of a penguin fly around the board. If you try talking to him, he'll say "There's that freakin' Penguin again... better kill it."
  • Sonic Refrence Two: At General Tso's Arbenagerian Chow, go to the the menu posted on the wall and read it. One of the items will be "Egg-man".
  • Sonic Refrence Three: When Homeschool summons Lunaris, Homeschool says: "No, he's NOT Solaris, despite his looks!", referring to the fact that Lunaris looks like the final boss from the PS3 Sonic game.
  • Ikaruga Reference One: In the Space Dock, you can see the ship from Ikaruga in a hangar.
  • Ikaruga Reference Two: In 20X6 Central, you can see large models of Ikaruga's bosses. The Misago (satellite boss) is HUGE!
  • Sonic Refrence Four: When the Mutant Spawn is first encountered, Strong Bad says, "Man, this ugly thing is like a frog version of the Biolizard!", referring to the last boss of Sonic Adventure 2.
