- All fortunes were written years prior to the making of this game, though some were revised shortly before release.
- There are 30 fortunes total, about half the number present in the original Homestar Runner Fortune Cookies.
- "The rubber bands are heading in the right direction" was a real fortune in a fortune cookie opened by Lira's mom.
- This is the first Pixstar Runner content released on Scratch in nearly four years.
- A number of fortunes written in the original text file were not included in the game:
- Fortune cookies are really overrated.
