Homestar Runner Strategy Guide/Quests/Outskirt Exploration II

To Start

• You must have completed the following criteria to start this quest:
  • Completed the "Outskirt Exploration I" quest.
• To start, go to the following location:
  • Free Country, USA Northern Outskirt.

Part 1: Outskirt Exploration, Part 2

After entering the Northern Outskirt, go left to find a man in armor. He will say that he lost his plans, although he won't say what they are for. You will need to defeat enemies until you find a scrap of paper. Then, after finding all the pieces, go to the area to the right and find the tape. Tape the scraps together and give it to the man. He will thank you and invite you to his lab across the mountains. Follow him.

Part 2: Up the Mountain...

Once you get to the mountain, a cutscene will show the dude jump to a small crack near the bottom of the mountain and dig his fingers in. He starts climbing and you will follow him. After that, it gets exactly like the Peasant's Quest mountain climb, only if a rock hits you, you only lose 5 HP. Once you get to the mountain peak, the armored guy congratulates you for your hard work, walks over to a tree, and picks a leaf.

Part 3: ...Down the Mountain

Armor guy will jump down the mountain. Follow him. You will catch up to him at once. Rocks will start falling from the top of the screen. You will grab him automatically. Start dodging rocks. If you get hit by one, game over. After you land, which will take three minutes, the dude will thank you and walk over to a building.

Part 4: First Test

When you enter the building, the armored guy welcomes you to his lab and brings out a sheep. He will introduce it as "Subject X" and take out a beaker full of green liquid. He will stuff the leaf inside the beaker, which then bubbles, froths, and turns red. He then feeds the red potion to Subject X. His eyes turn into little X's and a few seconds later, he catches fire. A few seconds later, the fire disappears to show that the sheep has become that Carnivorous Undead Sheep from Most in the graveyard! It jumps out the window to the KOT's backyard.

Part 5: Showdown at the Stick

A loud explosion sound happens. That guy in armor takes off his helmet to reveal that he was actually Homeschool in disguise! He says that the laboratory crap was just a diversion for his minions to seriously injure the KOT and that he created the carnivorous undead sheep to get rid of the King Of Town, both for absolutely no reason! He runs off. Return to the stick. Homeschool will be waiting there. Prepare for a boss battle!

Attacks: Spinshine, Electric Shield Slasheth, Kinetica
Strategy: This boss is pretty easy if you have a high enough level. When he uses Spinshine, 
he spins round and round with a leg out. It's pretty easy to dodge, and it dosen't really 
do too much damage.   Kinetica is when he releases homing purple spheres that seek out a 
specific party member from his mind. It's pretty hard to dodge, too, y'know, 'cause the spheres are 
homing. Also, WATCH OUT FOR ELECTRIC SHIELD SLASHETH! Once you deal him 50 damage, an 
electric blue shield will pop up around him randomly, and it deals a LOT of damage. 
Attack with light attacks, 'cause he's on the dark side.

After you beat him, he will say that you put up a good fight, but that wasn't the last of him. He then vanishes.
