Homestar Runner Strategy Guide/Quests/Outskirt Exploration I

To Start

• You must meet this criteria in order to do this quest:
  • Finish all the other quest (incept for Outskirt Exploration II and Key to the City).
• Start quest at:
  • Free Country USA Western Outskirts

Part One: Advice from the Pudgy

Talk to the old man in the Western Outskirts. He will tell you he has some special information on Homeschool that will help your quest. Something about blimps in the sky and Oblivion.

Part Two: Clearing Out The Beaches

When finished, search the three sub-areas of the Western Outskirts, which are the West Beach, the North Beach and the South Beach. Clear out all enemies in the beach and head back to the old man. When you talk to him once again, he'll give you more advice about Homeschool, including something about '40X9' and Armageddon.

Part Three: Heavy Lite

After talking to him, the Heavy Lourde 486, A giant mech that resulted from one of Homsar's Heavy Lourdes getting bitten by the (not dead) Vampire Lappy, will fall from the sky and crush the old man! A battle begins...

Attacks: The Good Ol' 1-2-3, Robo-Block, The Amazingly Clich餠Eye Lazers, Body Slam, Recoil
Strategy: You have a time limit of 10 minutes to beat this boss before the old man dies.
If he does, then GAME OVER. The HL486's structure is high in defense. Weaken the defense
first, then the rest is up to you. And also, although
Heavy Lourdes are inanimate objects and don't seem to have vital organs, vital fluids,
or vital abilities other than the ability to fall on stuff, they seem deathly allergic to
fire. Use that to your advantage.
